Tribal Welfare & Education

Tribal Welfare Students

Empowering Tribal Youth and Promoting Literacy

The hilly, forested blocks of Kaprada and Dharampur in Valsad district house a high concentration of tribal families. Due to geographic isolation and limited school infrastructure, children face higher drop-out rates.

Chhanyado established the **Tribal Welfare & Education** program to address this. Every year, we distribute complete school kits (containing canvas bags, notebooks, drawing books, compass boxes, and water bottles) to **over 9,000 tribal students** across remote forest hamlets.

We also run **Child Sanskar Centers** that provide homework help, moral values guidance, and healthy evening snacks to children, alongside supporting the Janki Chatralay boarding hostel for girls.
