Relief Aid & Rehabilitation During Nepal Earthquake
When a devastating earthquake struck Nepal in 2015, Chhanyado extended its service beyond borders to stand with those in urgent need. Led by Mr. Shah and a committed team, our volunteers reached severely affected areas like Bhimtar (Sindhupalchowk District) and Jalbire village.
In response to the critical health crisis, Chhanyado, in collaboration with Lions Cancer Detection Centre and Jivan Jyot Trust (Amroli), provided life-saving medicines worth ₹12,00,000 to the victims.
Going beyond immediate relief, Chhanyado also constructed 200 shelter homes—named ‘Mahesh Awas’—offering families a safe space to rebuild their lives with dignity.
Through compassion and quick action, we stood by Nepal when it needed hope the most.
