As the second wave of COVID-19 overwhelmed healthcare systems, Chhanyado intensified its efforts to address the medical emergency with speed and compassion.

The trust donated 50 Ventipeeps and BiPAP machines to New Civil Hospital, Surat, and 5 units to Jivan Jyot Hospital, Amroli. Additionally, 3 ventilators and 30 oxygen concentrators were distributed across healthcare centers in South Gujarat and Bikaner (Rajasthan). Through Lokseva Medical Stores, 2700 Remdesivir vials were provided at cost-to-cost pricing.

To ease the hospital bed shortage, Chhanyado—in collaboration with Seva Foundation—set up the ‘Vande Mataram’ isolation centre with 38 beds, ready within days to serve critical patients.

Support extended beyond hospitals—2000 grocery kits were distributed to Class-IV staff and quarantined patients, and kafan cloth and essential items were provided for families who lost loved ones.In a time of profound crisis, Chhanyado remained a pillar of strength, care, and dignity.
